From the prison yard to the pulpit. Mark is a Wilson NC native, born to a wonderful family with two sisters and two brothers with special needs. Mark went through many battles in life including Substance abuse, Alcoholism, and Mental health struggles. At the age of 18 he started working professionally as a mechanic which led to 19 years in this career with many different positions. These positions ranged from lead techs, shop foreman, assistant manager, and ultimately business owner. Mark spent most of his life in addiction which landed him in the prison system. Until he met a Man named Jesus! Mark has now been sober eleven years, has been married to his wife Bridgette for nine years and they have two wonderful little boys. Mark has spent eight years working in the recovery field helping countless others realize recovery is possible. Mark is now the Recovery Pastor at Restoration Purpose Church and Director of Restoration Recovery, a ministry designed to help people with life's hurts, habits and hang ups. Mark knows what God did for him and strives to let others know that there is freedom through Jesus.
