Recovery homes

Our Recovery Housing is a safe place for individuals who have detoxed and are on the road to recovery. In our recovery home, individuals will have the opportunities to seek employment, become active members of our church, all while continuing their journey to recovery. All of our occupants are expected to participate in daily chores, bi-weekly Bible studies, weekly devotions, weekly recovery meetings and church services. Each individual will have their mental health and physical health needs met by out partnerships and providers.

Each individual will have access to counseling sessions. Individuals who suffer from SUD/OUD disorders will have access to specialty pharmacies that are specializing in compounding drugs. While individuals are in our recovery housing program, family support is always welcome at any of our events. We believe that the biggest support system is out family, so we love seeing families support our guests.

While in the program residents are able to obtain support from a number of local resources. Department of Social Services helps them with any food stamps, Medicaid, or additional needs they require. We work closely with UNC Health Care Phycological Center in Rocky Mount providing residents with support and cate they need during their recovery process. Additionally, we have partnered with Ward’s Pharmacy to provide medications that are not opioid based for people who need pain medication that have a history with opioid dependency.

During the program, individuals attend courses on finance, money management, housing, self-care and wellness. Assistance in obtaining driver’s license, legal issues, social services and education. Along with objective skills in learning how to cope with life’s hurts, habits and hangups.

After the program, individuals have the skills to obtain employment, individual living, and self sustainability. Turning individuals who were once addicts into contributing members or society. Being an asset in the fight against opioid addiction, not just a statistic that was engulfed by the problem.

The Tedder House consist of three bedrooms and two full baths. Living, dining, kitchen and laundry facility. With a full capacity of 8 men, including the house manager, the house provides a safe haven for individuals seeking recovery. Men who stay at the 1500 square foot home agree to enter a one year faith-based residential recovery program. During their stay at the Tedder House they agree to a number of rules and requirements. Along with activities, meetings and events that aid in the treatment of their recovery.
